- When Dr. Mack was a Train Operator on the IND lines [E, F, D, A....] he had several "near misses" and escaped having a person injured or killed by being struck by his train known as a "12-9."
- As a police officer and detective psychologist, Dr. Mack responded to and counseled fellow officers who witnessed some of the worst tragedies you can imagine including police suicides, death of children and 9-11 terrorist attacks.
- Dr. Mack worked with Veterans for over 8 years at the Montrose VA hospital and provided ptsd treatment and therapy online for veterans suffering from depression, anxiety, substance related disorders and Military Sexual Trauma.
- While working with veterans and police officers Dr. Mack observed that a large percentage of these heroes experienced/exposed to physical, emotional, sexual and psychological abuse, either in their childhood and or as a young adult.

Dr. Mack has worked for the City of New York for 24 years [4 years as a Transit employee and 20 years with NYPD] and for the Federal Government for a total of 8 years. While working for these agencies he has sustained various workplace injuries so he can relate to the plight of the injured worker and was first authorized to provide treatment to injured workers and Independent Medical Examinations in 2006 by the New York Workers' Compensation Board.

Forensic psychologists provide clinical evaluations of individuals who are “involved” with the legal system.
